Create this whimsical Succulent Birdhouse with our DIY Kit.

Kit comes complete with:

Painted Birdhouse (you can make it Shabby Chic if you desire)

Two Birds

Succulent cuttings (plants will vary depending on availability)

Moss

You will need:

Glue

Scissors

Sand Paper (optional)

The Birdhouse is already painted. Simply sand it if you wish for a little Shabby Chic effect, glue on moss, glue on the succulents, and adorn with birds & bird nest.

Isn't it crazy to think that succulents can be GLUED on things? Yup - they can. And... the plants will continue to grow, so you can either trim them back, or replant them when much bigger, Simply (and carefully) pull them off the moss, and replant. Notice that we also glue them onto/into the moss, this way, they have something to root into. Then, just spritz with water to keep healthy.

There are several different ways to do this - use tacky glue, a glue gun (my favorite way, and faster), or a special glue made for plants (which isn't necessary. Use whatever glue you have at home. If using the tacky glue - go slow, be patient - it's gonna take a minute to 'set' before you put the next succulent on.

Edit yourself. We still wanted to be sure that you can see the birdhouse, so we didn't cover the ENTIRE roof. Your choice. You do you.
