Kokedama Workshop

Picture
Kokedama, translated “moss ball,” is a Japanese form of garden art. It’s made by wrapping a plant’s roots with soil, moss and string, rather than planting in the ground or a container, and can be done with a variety of plants.

It creates a super cool focal point, by setting them on trays, small stands or by hanging them from rafters or ceilings. It’s rewarding to surround yourself with kokedama planters you’ve made yourself—it’s not difficult to do! We’ll show you how.

In this fun, unique workshop, you choose your plant from our wide selection (including indoor plants & succulents alike), and Andrew will assist you in turning it into a kokedama. No two are alike.

Cost: $25 plus the cost of individual plants used.

Due to the limited # of participants, class fees are nonrefundable
unless cancelled/rescheduled by The Dragonfly.

Can’t come to this workshop? Schedule your own with a group of four or more people. We love to accommodate.
