You may know people who have an artistic eye or training, while others are exceptional at knowing what the people want and how to get it for them. There are people who know where to find quality and rare or unique pieces. Also, let’s not forget people who have their own artistic flair and create their own work to share. There are excellent Managers or Salespeople who run and work in specialty shops and know just how to make their customers happy. And then there are those who embody all of these things, and that is what you will find in Linda Kouri!

Linda Kouri has been in the resale business for 25 years and in that time she has travelled and learned a great deal about a great many things! Having obtained her Bachelors and Masters of Fine Arts from USC as well as a degree in secondary education, Linda went on to manage a gift store which opened her eyes to the possibilities of the world of retail. Following this, she worked for the Premier florist of Pasadena, Jacob Maarse. You may have heard of them, they are THE preferred florist for the Tournament of Roses! While there, Linda managed the gift buying department and loved it so much she stayed 8 ½ years. From there, she opened a tea room in an English Cottage of the Haskett Court area of Pasadena.

After moving to Orange County, you could find Linda selling unique and treasured items at boutiques such as the Pasadena Symphony, The Children’s Hospital of Orange, or the Torrance Memorial Hospital. She has been dedicated to attending the same charity events 9 years in a row. Now, inspired by her Grandchildren and her love for unique and cherished gifts, Linda can be found at the Dragonfly Shops & Gardens where you can sneak peeks at (and purchase!!) her one of a kind Pedestal Plates and her mixed media pieces from Cicely Mary Barker.

Linda’s passion of Scrap Booking, Painting and Gardening are just another reason to stop by and see her, you might be surprised to see what kinds of new ideas she can share! With her background in Art and her years of experience in gift and retail, she has an exceptional eye for special items and trends. One look at the Jelly Cats  stuffed animals that fly out of the shop are  proof positive that she knows how to find items for the young at heart!
